China King: Savor Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Sugar Land

@chinakingtx has a great lunch special, I have been to this spot multiple times for it. you get a main course(large selection of items to choose from), Soup, and an Egg Roll. this time I went with the Hot Szechuan Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup. the meal was great, fresh and flavorful with generous portions. overall love it

I have been going there for many years. Now China King is under new management, and it was my first time trying it since then. To begin with, the place looked much more lively. The owner interacted with all the customers. We had a great talk with Faisal. Now, let's talk about food. I ordered the same items to compare the quality and taste. We began with appetizers' hot and spicy wings, spring rolla, and hot &sour soup. Everything tasted good as before. It was good and delicious. For entrée we ordered special kung pao, general tso chicken, and spicy and tangy chicken. Two with white rice and one fried rice. The food was delicious, same as before, in my opinion. The only thing I disliked was fried rice. For some reason, they were hard and very crunchy, which none of us like it. Our top pick was general tso chicken, kung pao special and spicy tangy chicken. I wish the owners the very best of luck and all the success. We will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

First time visit and I had to drive a distance just to try them out on the high recommendation of a family member. I ordered takeout (4 dishes for 3 people) the food/service was very good and the price was very reasonable. The portions were more than adequate, there was plenty of leftovers for all of us to enjoy two more meals each. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

This is a great place for a chinese cuisine with desi taste. We have tried special Lo mein, Mongolian chicken and chicken corn soup. Everything was very good in taste, mongolian chicken could have been more flavorful but still was very good in taste. Their portions were actually very good serving size, we could only eat half of what we ordered.

After a long time we visited China King but the experience was not as we were having experience in past. Our favorite was Chicken Wings Hot and Spicy but not the same texture or taste. Hot and Sour Soup, less ingredients than before and not tasty like was. My wife got Chicken with mix vegetables, not satisfied. Chicken with Cashew Nuts same issue. Only Chicken Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef and Pad Thai Spicy Noodles were okey. Prices they increased almost 30-40 percent and portion for the dishes they reduced. Like others they added 10% auto gratuity included in the bill even we were only 2 at the table.

The food was really good, I tried the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice it was tasty. The owner is really down to earth and asked us how the food was and told us how she started the restaurant and where she buys the meat from ( my dad was impressed, he’s really strict on halal)

We came with our family from Florida and this was the best Chinese food we have had in a very long time. The food was amazing would definitely recommend the spicy wings and the faisal beef fried rice dragon style! It is spicy and you have options for the spice level. You can request dragon style on any item for spice level 3 will set your mouth on fire. Double spicy chicken is amazing as well. Also recommend sizzling chili beef.

Wonderfull owner , amazing staff , Halal Healthy food , I loved there menu you have to try it , take the advise from waiter about your order if you like it fried or boiled … quantity of food is too much I don’t know why so be ready to take the rest to go as I’m sure you will not be able to finish it .. try the shrimp chicken soap … very delicious.. You have to try it .. it made me love Chinese food
